The POC Cularis is more than just the safest helmet that Virginia Tech has tested so far, it has also received numerous other safety certifications CPSC/CE/EN/AS/NZS (the New Zealand safety standard)  

The POC Cularis helmet uses an EPS liner and a polycarbonate outer shell. Aramid bridges between the helmet liner and shell enhance structural stability and penetration protection.
