What is Dermizax™ EV? Dermizax™ EV is based on a highly technical, stretchy membrane. It is non-porous and hydrophilic, which reduces the blockage of pores by sweat or dirt. The membrane structure of Dermizax™ EV produces a high level of breathability even in prolonged and intensive movement. This is because the moisture does not escape via the pores, as is usually the case, but via the molecular structure of the membrane. Dermizax™ EV redefines the concept of comfort in performance fabrics. In addition to the characteristics of the classic membrane, this hard-wearing material also offers improved windproofness for particularly stormy weather conditions.

What is PrimaLoft® GOLD INSULATION ACTIVE?
PrimaLoft® Gold Insulation Active is a true alternative to down. The insulation consists of 45 percent recycled material and develops its maximum performance during activity. The insulation material was specially developed for the optimum regulation of the body temperature – for uncompromising performance. This is achieved using tried-and-tested PrimaLoft® technology, where performance and comfort come first. To achieve the perfect temperature regulation, PrimaLoft® Gold Insulation Active forms millions of tiny air chambers that store and retain body heat even in extremely cold temperatures. This is how the insulation keeps the wearer nice and warm. What makes it particularly special is that it does so even when wet courtesy of the material's water-repellent finish. In addition, PrimaLoft® Gold Insulation Active is extremely flexible due to the 4-way stretch and also offers enormous breathability. Excess heat and moisture are quickly transported from the inside to the outside, creating an excellent wear feeling. This elasticity of the insulation also ensures that it moves and stretches with the body, resulting in a fabulous freedom of movement for the wearer.

What does down mean for the consumer?

Be it the breeding of the animals on the farm, their transportation or slaughter, only if 100% of the criteria and guidelines are fulfilled will the product receive the status of RDS certification and be used by Schöffel.
