SHIMANO platform pedals are designed to provide the ideal balance between connection to the bike, stable pedalling and freedom on the bike and when walking. The shape of the pedal body and the pins ensure that the cyclist's foot is directly and securely connected to the pedal. This ensures maximum control and efficiency when pedalling.

Careful attention has been paid to material selection, construction, shaping and strength to develop a platform pedal that combines lightweight construction, a low Q-factor and a long service life under all riding conditions.
